Dr Shaheen Mohammed, an internist by training, started practicing medicine in Flint in 1998, soon after finishing her medical residency at Hurley Medical Center (Flint). She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Prior to Hurley, she graduated from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (Bangalore University) in India.

From June 2015 till May 2022, Dr Shaheen Mohammed provided care at the Community Medical Center in Fenton. In June 2022, she decided to return to private practice in the Flint area.
